Representing Your Vision

Posted by Aaron Jeschke on September 22, 2009

Many times I have seen Christian Fundraisers that don’t do a good job communicating what they are fundraising for. Ultimately the point of a Christian Fundraiser is to finance of mission or vision that a person or group of persons are particularly passionate about. Attempting to raise money for the sake of raising money simply doesn’t work (at least not in Christian Fundraising circles). Because it is often necessary to advertise a specific Christian Fundraising product, groups need to make sure that the product adequately communicates their vision. “Luxury” Church Fundraising products, such as cookie dough, are generally pretty useless to the donor (except that it tastes good for a brief period). I know that for me, I don’t really want my vision to be represented by a briefly useful product. What I would want is a product that the donor can use over and over again, something practical and useful.

I think that the Samaritan Card is a Christian Fundraising product that can represent your vision exceptionally well. The Samaritan Card can be used for an entire year and offers savings of up to 50% off to donors at over 100,000 merchants nationwide.  The Samaritan Card is a Church Fundraising product that constantly gives back to the giver. The Samaritan Card is a product that remains consistently useful to the donor just as your vision or mission is consistently useful to those involved. Christian Fundraising has never been better!

Why the Samaritan Card?

Posted by Aaron Jeschke on September 21, 2009

Why should you choose the Samaritan Card as your Christian Fundraiser over other Christian Fundraising products? First because the Samaritan Card is a Christian Fundraising product that allows you to raise money fast! Ministers don’t have to plan large, complicated fundraising events or campaigns. All you need to do is order some Samaritan Cards and start selling! After the initial purchase there are no more orders, no forms, and no return visits! You can reap profits of up to 70% per card you sell! Now that is fast Christian Fundraising.

The second reason is that it is easy to raise money with the Samaritan Card. Who wouldn’t want to have a product that allows them to save more than they give? With the Samaritan Card donors can save up to 50% at over 100,000 retail, restaurant, and recreation merchants nationwide! Merchants such as Dick’s, Target, Macy’s, Dominoes, Mcdonald’s, and Busch Gardens all provide savings to Samaritan Card members. Christian Fundraising has never been easier!

My last reason is that it keeps donors happy! When you sell the Samaritan Card to donors you are not giving them an ordinary Church Fundraising product, you are allowing them to save more than they give. Donors can contribute to the heart of your cause and save more than if they had not given at all! Best of all the Samaritan Card can pay for itself in a single use! Christian Fundraising products have never left donors happier!

Are Car Washes Worth it in the World of Christian Fundraising?

Posted by Aaron Jeschke on August 7, 2009

I was involved in youth ministry for a number of years and during that time one of the youth group fundraisers we used most often were car washes. We would go out early on a Saturday morning, set up shop at a local gas station and commence the beckoning to passing cars. After a long, wet afternoon we would gather the days earnings. We had earned less than $400. Ten kids washing cars for four hours means approximately ten dollars per hour per child. Not the best youth group fundraiser when you need $300 dollars per person to send them to youth camp later that summer.

In today’s world of youth group fundraisers we really need something faster, easier, and that would genuinely benefit our donors which is why I love the Samaritan Card. It can be sold in minutes rather than facing the $10 per hour grind of the car wash. It helps to raise money quickly and easily while providing donors with the savings they need in tough economic times. I don’t believe there to be an easier Christian fundraiser than selling the Samaritan Card. For me, car washes are a thing of the past.
